Hands on actively manages through direct interaction with employees in process areas. Able to identify and resolve employee issues in a timely manner before they escalate. Communicates openly and honestly with employees at all levels. Implements and monitors training and certification plans. Ensures the protection of Corning’s Intellectual Property (IP). Coordinates daily activities of team and support organizations. Provides feedback on individual and team performance. Ensures compliance to established guidelines, procedures, and policies. A role model for safety – leads and facilitates the team to world class safety performance. Takes initiative to actively pursue and drive improvements, including safety, quality, and efficiency improvements. Ensures requests are completed in a timely manner and meet quality specifications. Oversees fulfillment of requests from internal R&D customers through various processes.
